 Baritone

American baritone Aaron Murphy has appeared on opera and concert stages across the Eastern U.S. and Canada. His notable roles include appearances as Don Alhambra in The Gondoliers, Ben in The Telephone with Lee University Opera, Guglielmo in Così fan tutte with Opera Tennessee, Frank in Die Fledermaus, Ramiro in L’heure espagnole with Opéra McGill, and the title role in Eugene Onegin with Opera NUOVA. His concert work includes Handel's Messiah and the Narrator in Charpentier's Le reniement de Saint-Pierre with the Lee University Symphony, Beethoven’s Mass in C with the Cantabile Chorale de Ste.-Geneviève, and Bach’s Magnificat at St. Michael’s Church in Charleston, SC.

Alsoo the program is the French baroque treasure, Nicolas Clérambault's cantata Poliphême, with period instrumentation and tuning coordinated by James Walton, continuo.
